Adult Bible Study (Tim's Class)

Adult Bible Study Questions for 11/01/09

In our beginning discussion of God we saw in scripture (I John 5:7, Matthew 3:16,17, Matthew 28:19, John 14, 15, 16) clear evidence of the trinity. One part of that trinity is God the Spirit. John 4:24 declares God is a Spirit.

1. What mental picture comes to mind when you think of a spirit?

2. Would it have been possible for God the Spirit to be the sacrifice for our sins?

3. On day 3 in our lesson guide page 101 the title reads "God Is a Person". Do you think that is an accurate statement?

This weeks study is on God.... 10/25/09

How would you answer the following questions?

Questions to think about or comment on:

1. " How would you explain God?"

2. " How do you understand who God is?"

Your particapation in class or comments to these questions is encouraged and are appreciated. Have a good week, and remember to "Pray for one another".

  4. Good point. It is certainly easier to explain and understand someone when we really know them.

  5. Yes, He is a person. We have His same charateristics because He created us in His own image. He grieved in His heart, He laughs, He loves, He forgives, He is angry etc.
